Simon Says Stamp – Fractured Background

The Stamptember Party has been going on all month! There have been lots of collaborative sets. I’m sharing a project using the new Simon Says Stamp Fractured Background stamp. I love abstract fractal lines and enjoyed making this!

I embossed the background stamp over watercolor cardstock with gold embossing powder and used my Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors to watercolor each “block” with 3 cool tones in Viridian, Peacock Blue, and Bright Clear Violet.

After watercoloring, I trimmed my panel to mat an A2-sized card base a quarter inch all the way around. I added foam adhesive to the back of the panel and adhered it over my cardbase.

For my sentiment, I die-cut the Best Day Ever die in white four times and die-cut the halo using vellum. I stacked the phrase and adhered it to the center of my panel. To finish my card, I embellished with a few clear sequins.
