Colorado Craft Company – Christmas Tree Cat

Hi, Friends!

I’ve created a second card using the new line illustrated by Anita Jeram for Colorado Craft Company. Today’s card uses a fun set called Christmas Tree Cat.

I stamped and colored this large image with Copic markers.

Browns: E21, E23, [E30, E33, E27]
Grays: C1, C4, C5, W0, W2, W5
Teals: BG11, BG23
Purples: V000, V01
Greens: G03, G29
Blues: B0000, B01
Yellows: Y11, YR23
Reds: R21, R22, R24, R29

This set does come with dies but I didn’t have them due to COVID-related issues when I made the card so I fussy cut it and the little mouse. For my background, I loosely colored the background of some watercolor cardstock using Distress Inks (Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs, Hickory Smoke).

I attached my image to the watercolored background using foam adhesive, Then stamped my sentiment in the open space above the tree. To finish, I added a few white gel highlights to my card.

I hope you enjoyed this card! I love all these Charlie Brown-style Christmas trees with their loose and open branches!
