Simon Says Stamp – Center Cut Snowflakes

I’m back for another card from Simon Says Stamps’ latest release. I love the Center Cut series (I made that up, but I don’t think that’s too far fetched). The Center Cut Snowflakes is a beautiful off set of large and small snowflakes with a center cut out.

I stamped and embossed my image in white over Bristol Smooth cardstock so I could do some light watercoloring with my Karin markers. I wanted a soft look, so I chose Red Lilac (358) and Turquoise (654).

I avoided the snowflakes while watercoloring so they would stand out in front of the colors. When I was done watercoloring, I used the Slimline Nested Rectangles to cut my panel so I could mat it to a piece of pink cardstock. Before doing so, I splattered the panel with gold and dark pink ink.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment from a coordinating stamp set – Circle Sentiments Christmas and die-cut it using a circle die. Then to finish, I added some sequins from the Girl’s Best Friend Mix.
