Hey Friends!

Welcome back for another Simon Says Stamp Holly Jolly Release project! Today, I’m using a set designed by Kristina Werner – we all know she loves cats so this one is is for her (since I’m afraid of cats). I don’t mind coloring cute Christmas Kitties though – it’s a good compromise, right? 😂

I colored two of the kitties from the set, then made it all about the background using a few more new products from the release. I first ink-blended the background Distress Oxide Inks (Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet).

After splattering my panel with some water, I added sparkly stars using the Scattered Stars Stencil with Gina K. Designs Glitz Glitter Gel in White. I set that aside and then used the new Layered Hills die to cut a snow hill for the kitties. To decorate the snow top, I used the new Unicorn Confetti Chunky Glitter – I LOVE this stuff!

I added this panel to my background panel with foam adhesive, then attached my kitties with more foam adhesive to give this card lots of dimension. Finally, I attached a simple embossed sentiment strip to finish my card.
