My Favorite Things – Very Merry and Bright Shaker Card

Hey, Friends!

Today, I’m sharing a simple shaker card using a few MFT products from last month’s release! I love penguins and got a few sets from the last release because I couldn’t resist. I’m using the smaller, solid images on the Polar Opposites set to pair with the Very Merry and Bright Die-namics for a shaker card.

I first used the Very Merry and Bright Die-namics to die-cut the letters from a white panel. I used acetate to turn it into a shaker window and to in-lay the inner (closed) parts of the letters back into the word.

For my background, I used a sheet of patterned paper from the Very Merry Paper Pack and ink-blended it with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink to give it more interest. I then added some sequins and attached my shaker window using foam tape.

I stamped and colored my images simply to add to my shaker window – giving it more life with a few penguin characters and winter hats.

Teals: BG10, BG11, BG34
Oranges: YR00, YR02
Reds: R32, R35, R37, R39
Blues: BG01, BG05
Purples: V01, BV11, BV17
Penguins: C00, C1, C2, R30
