Hi, Friends!

Altenew is teaming up with Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker today to celebrate her current 30 Day Coloring Challenge. We’re using watercolor products from Altenew – many focusing on the new Woodless Watercolor Pencil 24 Set, which I don’t have so I made a project using the Artists’ Watercolor 24 Pan Set.

To start, I embossed my images using gold embossing powder. Then I used various pans of paint to watercolor my images.

Colors used:
Peony: Tea Party
Blossoms: Cool Summer Night
Centers: Fall Harvest
Leaves: Green Meadows, Green Hills

After coloring, I die-cut the images and set them aside to work on my background. I used a piece of fog cardstock and ink-blended the top left hand corner only using Worn Lipstick and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Ink.

After arranging my florals, I stamped my sentiment in the open space in the bottom right hand corner.
