Hi, Friends!

It’s nearly Christmas and I want to share I project I made using the Tim Holtz Paper Village dies! These tiny houses are so cute and I couldn’t resist die-cutting a rainbow of them! You can turn them into ornaments or set them as decor with bottle brush trees for a colorful village. This die set has been pretty hard to come by – you can probably imagine how popular they are – but I hope they’ll come back into stock soon and that you’ll be able to get it if you are able!

I die-cut the pieces using the different dies from an assortment of Simon Says Stamp glitter cardstock. The Assortment Glitter 6″ x 6″ Cardstock comes in 18 different colors and is perfect for this project!

The roof tops are die-cut from Silver Holographic Copper Design Cardstock. I love the galvanized metal look and this cardstock worked perfectly.

Before attaching the roofs, I pierced a small hole using my paper piercer so I could string some twine through them to make them ornaments. I pulled them out to set up a village but can easily re-string them if I want to. I just wanted to show you the variety of uses for these paper village houses.

I have a space set up in my craftroom where I have a little village set up with metal houses. I added these little paper houses to it and it filled it up quite nicely too!
