I have a fun project to share with you today! It was a labor of love but I’m so glad I didn’t stop or give up! The Mandala Maker and Mandala Confetti Dies are so much fun to play with. You can get the two products bundled together HERE. I googled mandalas for inspiration and decided to only use the circle confetti dies to create my card.

I used the Mandala Maker stamp to stamp the mandala template using white pigment ink on black cardstock. I knew I wanted my background to have lots of contrast with the bright colored cardstock I was using. I ended up not needing the larger mandala templates because my design organically built on it’s own so I’d say start with the center and build out.

I die-cut the colors as I went starting from the center. I propped a few of the larger circles up with foam adhesive to give it dimension and also added smaller circles if the larger circles needed fillers.

Once I reached the outer edge and finished, I trimmed my card panel to mat an A2 sized cardbase. At this point, I felt this wasn’t a card I could easily give away and thought it would be really cool framed, so I mat it over an A7 card panel. My sentiment is a strip from the Reverse Happy Sentiment Strips from Simon Says Stamp.
