Hi, Friends!
Do you have things in your stash for years that you haven’t used? That’s the case with the products I’m using on my card today. I love so many things but I don’t have time (and often don’t make time) to use them. I have more creative freedom so it’s been nice to pull things out that I’ve had a while to use.
I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers. I used the Birds and the Bees set with the Bee Hive set to create my scene.
Greens: G21, G24, G28
Pinks: R81, R85
Blues: BG000, BG01
Bees: Y15, Y38
Bee Hive: Y00, YR20, YR23, YR24, YR27
Browns: E31, E34, E37
The background is ink-blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink using a cloud stencil. To give it some texture, I die-cut this panel with the Stipple Hexagon die.
I attached my images, leaving lots of room for my sentiment – which I used the Friend stamp and die for. I embossed the word from the stamp set, used the second die to die-cut the outline of the word, then layered it over a vellum piece die-cut with the stippled outline.
