Welcome to Day 1 of the Simons Says Stamp Love You and Love You, Too Release Blog Hop! I’m sharing a card using the Best Friend Ever set by Simon Says Stamp. There are four pretty flower clusters on this 6″ x 8″ stamp set and I’m using one of them today to watercolor.

I stamped the image 3 times in the arrangement that you see but on a watercolor panel and painted the flowers in blue. When I was done, I painted the foliage and then added some gray to the centers. To put back the details, I hand drew them with a writing pen.

I then die-cut the watercolor panel with the coordinating die and because they were stamped on the watercolor panel where I wanted my arrangement, it was easy to put them back where I intended them to be after trimming down a separate panel of fog cardstock that I ink-blended with white pigment ink and splattered.

I finished by attaching my images, stamping my sentiment and adding embellishments.
