Simon Says Stamp – You Have My Heart Wreath

Hey Friends!

I’m sharing a Simon Says Stamp project today using the You Have My Heart set. I’ve made a card using this set already but it’s got a heart wreath image that I didn’t use so I decided I’d use it for my card today.

I stamped and colored my wreath along with another rose and two leaves with Copic markers. The only cluster on the image is in the upper right hand corner, so I wanted to color another for the bottom left too.

Pinks: RV52, RV55, RV19
Greens: [YG07, G07], [YG13, YG17], [G21, G24, G28]

I used some twin to tie a bow and added more to my wreath for a hanger. For the background, I used White Woodgrain cardstock and added Frayed Burlap and Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Inks using large Pink & Main Ergonomic Brushes. Using a light hand covered the wood grain panel evenly. When I was done, I sprayed it with water and added some black splatters as well.

I embossed my sentiment over a strip of vellum and wrapped it around my woodgrain panel before adhering the heart wreath over it with foam adhesive for lots of dimension. Then, I finished by adhering some clear droplets to embellish my card.
