Hi, Friends!
The Simon Says Stamp Hello Beautiful Release is here! I am sharing a card using an adorable set from Cathy Zielske called Narwhal Friends! My card today is a mini slimline size that fits into an SSS Mini Slimline Envelope (3.25″ x 6.25″). The great news is, the current release also includes Mini Slimline Envelope Dies – I’m so excited about this!
I love these sweet images so much and stamped the narwhals along with some bubbles and shooting stars to color with Copic markers. I get a lot of my inspiration from google and loved the images with a blend of pastel colors so I used them too on my narwhals.
Pinks: R00, R30
Yellows: Y11, YR21, E31
Teals: BG11, BG32, BG34
Blues: BG0000, BG000, BG02
Purple: BV0000, BV00
For my background, I ink-blended with Distress Oxide Inks using the Mermaid Scales Stencil. I wanted to find something with an ocean-feel and hoped that this stencil would do the trick! I ink-blended using colors similar to the ones on my images and ended up using the following colors (from the top): Victorian Velvet, Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio.
To finish, I attached my images on the stenciled panel using foam adhesive for lots of dimension and then stamped and die-cut and attached my sentiment as well. How fun is this card!? I even went a little further by adding Glossy Accents over the bubbles and stars.
