Tonight, Gina K. Designs is having another release! You all know how much I love to color Gina’s flowers! I’m sharing a slimline project using the Flowers For You set illustrated by Arjita Singh! I love her floral illustrations!

I decided to change it up a little and use her floral spray to create a slimline card by stamping the image twice at a diagonal on watercolor paper for this card. I light ink – there are so many options and Gina K. Designs has wonderful amalgam ink for no-line coloring too!

I keep it really simple when I watercolor – I don’t mix paints and use them right out of the pans! Daniel Smith colors used are: Pyrrol Crimson, Hooker’s Green, and Payne’s Gray. I used a monoline black pen to add the floral stamens back on. Super simple! After this, I trimmed my panel down to clean up the edges and stamped and embossed my sentiment.

I added foam adhesive to the backside, then gave my watercolored panel some interest by splattering it with white and gold paint. When dry, I attached my panel to a slimline card base (3.5″ x 8.5″). I finished by embellishing my card using iridescent jewels from Gina K Designs called Angel Aura – I love all things iridescent!
