Hi, Friends!

I’m joining Altenew today in celebrating their 7th Anniversary today. Happy Birthday, Altenew! Be sure to check out the Altenew Blog for all the inspiration and where fun begins! I have a quick project to share today and hope you like it!

One of my favorite things about Altenew is their layered floral images! I used the Airbrushed Anemone set on today’s card and loved how easy it is to stamp and layer! It leaves intentional white space. I tried to make it a little more airy and different by stamping gray leaves too.

Ink colors used: 
Leaves: Morning Frost, Evening Gray
Yellows: Butternut, Pumpkin Pie, Sicilian Amber
Flowers: Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine

For a more delicate touch, I decided to add some foliage from the Leaf Canopy set that I stamped and embossed in white over vellum. To give these images some faux shading, I added some white using a colored pencil.

My background is a piece of Fog cardstock that I ink-blended just the top left hand corner with using coordinating ink colors with Distress Oxide Inks (Worn Lipstick and Seedless Preserves), though I’m sure it would’ve been just as great to use the pink dye inks I used to stamp the flowers with! Everything is layered and added to my card panel using foam adhesive. To finish, I stamped and embossed a sentiment over vellum to add to my card.
