Welcome to another project featuring products from the latest Simon Says Stamp Born to Sparkle Release! Today, I’m sharing a simple shaker card using the Window Box Blooms set.
I began by stamping and coloring the window image and one of the floral window box images from the stamp set. I colored them with Copic markers and die-cut them before setting them aside to work on my background.
Grays: C00, C1, C3, C5
Tulips: R30, R32, R35
Leaves: YG06, YG09
To create my shaker window, I used a piece of cream cardstock and stamped some brick using stamps from the Spring Windows stamp set in Barely Beige ink. It’s really subtle. I also ink-blended some towards the center of the card before die-cutting the window for the shaker window. On the front of a card base, I ink-blended Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and added some sequins from the Frosted Mint Sequins pack.
I added acetate to the window opening and added foam adhesive all over the back of my card panel to secure it over the sequins to seal in my shaker components. To finish, I die-cut and stacked 4 layers of the window panel to give the “wall” more dimension and attached my tulip box with foam adhesive. My sentiment is from the Reverse Encouraging Words Sentiment Strips.
