There’s a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! It’s Challenge #100 and the theme is Cards for Kids! This one should be fun for all!

My card today is an interactive card but doesn’t require any dies! Just foam tape pockets. I’ll explain in a little bit!

I thought it would be fun to use the Ice Cream, You Scream dies! Kids love it and I think it’s totally appropriate for the current theme! I knew I wanted to stack the adorable ice cream cones, but thought it would be fun to make it interactive! The top two ice cream cones are completely removable. All this requires is strategically placing foam adhesive on the back of the cons to create pockets.

To start my card, I die-cut the ice cream cones from Lawn Fawn cardstock and ink-blended them with Lawn Fawn inks.

Cardstock:  Guava, Sugarplum, Mermaid, Vanilla Malt, Ballet Slippers, Raspberry, Cilantro 

Inks:  Lobster, Sugarplum, Peacock, Noble Fir, Pizza Crust

After putting all my ice cream cones together, I die-cut a white panel from the Quilted Backdrop die and layered it over pink cardstock. I then die-cut the sentiment from the Scripty Sweet die – I die-cut several layers to stack to match the height of the ice cream cones from the foam adhesive on the back. My sub-sentiments on the cones are from the Thanks Thanks Thanks stamp set.

To make my card interactive, I stacked all three the way I wanted it, then added foam adhesive strips on the back to hold it cone in place without adhering the cones together – it’s that simple!
