I’m sharing a card I shared on the Simon Says Stamp Blog and YouTube Channel yesterday. I created a colorful background using die-cut images from the Painted Flowers set from the Born to Sparkle Release.
I added shading to the stamped images using darker shades of ink using finger daubers since these stamps are one-layered. You’ll need too watch my video to see how it’s done (if you’re interested!)
After die-cutting, I lay out all my images over an A2-sized card panel to evenly space it all out. When the layout was right, I used Glad Press ‘N Seal to pick up all the die-cuts so that I could add foam adhesive to the back without altering the position of the die-cuts.
I flipped over the Glad ‘N Seal and adhered the images over the cardstock panel and trimmed off any overhang before working on the sentiments using the Hugs die and a sentiment strip from the new Reverse Encouraging Words set.
This card is finished by using iridescent jewels to fill in some white space. I’ll have to admit – I had a lot more on there initially, but removed some to tone it down a bit 😂. I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!
