Hey Friends!
I’ve got another stencil card to share with you today. I really do love stenciled cards – it doesn’t require a lot of detailed coloring time and it’s always a bonus. I love it also because it provides a no-line look. The Flower Bunch Simple Layering Stencils is a set of 4 stencils and creates the gorgeous bouquet you see below.
I used Pinkfresh Studio inks for my card today, but Altenew also has amazing ink colors too! I should’ve reached for those but didn’t even think about it when I was making this card.
Greens:Fresh Pear, Grassy Knoll, Evergreen
Pinks: Ballet Slipper, Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Berrylicious
Grays: Metropolis, Licorice
Purples: Soft Liliac, Regal Kiss
I wanted to use the Simply Said Thank You Die so I knew I would need a bigger canvas because I didn’t want much of my bouquet to be hidden. I die-cut the words twice to stack together to make them sturdier.
For the background, I used the Halftone Stencil and blended using Aquamarine ink. Such a quick and easy background! Before adhering the sentiment, I splattered the bouquet and background with some white. Then I attached the sentiment with foam adhesive to give it dimension.
