I hope you’re enjoying all the inspiration from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbows Release! There are so many fun sets for any occasion with this release! I have a summer card for you today using the Tropical Silhouettes set. Sometimes, I am very mono-toned with silhouette stamps – I think it has to be stamped in black but it obviously doesn’t have to be! I just can’t think outside the box! I Googled some inspiration and saw some fun backgrounds in lots of colorful colors!

My card is a simple 1 layered card. I used 4 different shades of green dye ink to stamp the different tropical leaves all around the central sentiment that I first embossed with gold embossing powder.

I stamped the leaves in different colors randomly to fill the white space around my sentiment, making sure to fill all the white space. To introduce more gold embossing, I stamped and embossed some monstera leaves too. Gives it a little shine and interest! I added some brightness to it by lightly ink-blending a yellow ink all around the border towards the sentiment too.

Since this is a one-layer panel, I decided to give it more dimension by propping up the panel with foam adhesive over the card base. I hope this gives you an idea for some solid foliage stamps that you might have!
