Hi, Friends!
I’m back with another card using new product from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbows Release! Today’s card uses the Birthday Seedlings stamp set – it’s a simple layered stamp set and I always love using my dye inks!
I stamped all of the images two to three times, stamping the outline in their coordinating colors. After stamping the outline first in the darkest shade, I used a lighter color to stamp the solid image and then sponged on some of the darker color to add shading.
Inks used: Jellybean, Key Lime, Fern, Rosie Cheeks, Teeny Bikini, Lavender, Deep Purple
On a white panel cut to 3.25″ x 6.25″, I arranged my leaves and pink flowers. when I was satisfied with the layout, I used a piece of Glad Press’N Seal to pick up all the images. I added foam tape to the back and let them sit while I added Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink to a white panel. I attached the foliage and pink flowers over the ink-blended area and splattered it with white and black paint.
I stamped my sentiment using a crisp black in and them finished by adding my purple flowers in various areas. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
