Hi Friends!
Today, I’ve got a simple card created using the Repeating Rainbows background stamp from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbows Release! When you have a full background, a simple bold sentiment is my go-to!
I stamped and embossed the background stamp over white cardstock using clear embossing powder. Typically, I’l ink-blend a background stamp like this, but I decided to color each of the bands simply with Copic markers instead. I chose four colors to repeat: Y11, BG13, YR02, R22.
After coloring, I trimmed my panel and then stamped my sentiment over vellum using a sentiment from the XL Greetings stamp set. I used VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and added clear embossing powder to heat set the ink over the vellum.
I used think strips of foam adhesive behind the letters, added gold thread, then attached the large sentiment over my colored rainbow panel. Super easy and simple! I hope you like it!
