I’m a guest for Waffle Flower’s July Challenge. The challenge is holiday tags and while I’m very much NOT ready for Christmas, I had fun with these tags.
I used the Spotlight Holiday Elements stamp set to stamp sprigs onto some Arches Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper to paint the images with Daniel Smith Watercolors. I gave them some texture by splattering the images with white and gold paint before die-cutting the tag using the Combo Swatch Tag die.
I decided I wanted to turn them into shakers, so I die-cut a top panel from white cardstock. I used a craft knife to cut out the window and attached acetate to create the window.
I finished by embossing the sentiments from the Spotlight Holiday Elements set over red cardstock and dressed up my tags with ribbon, twine, springs and bells for charms.
