Hey Friends!

The new Simon Says Stamp Make Magic Release is here!!! I’m sharing a fun card tonight using the Petal Power set. If you love fun patterns and the ability to change colors and create your own images using these, shapes, you’re going to love this set!

I stamped these petals, leaves and stems using Simon Says Stamp inks to make it colorful, and used two red petals and coordinating dies to create a lady bug too.

Ink colors used: Schoolhouse Red, Hot Lips, Teeny Bikini, Apricot, Lemon Chiffon, Key Lime, Jellybean, Mint Candy, Scuba, Audrey Blue, Deep Sea, Deep Purple, Hot Mama

To give the background some color, I also ink-blended Scuba ink to the top right hand corner and fading it into white. I used some Press N Seal to help me hold the petals in place to add foam to the bottom of my petals before attaching the flower petals to my card. Then I attached the lady bug and drew on some antennas.

My sentiment is trimmed down from the new Reverse Sunshine and Rainbows Sentiment Strips. I hope you like this fun and colorful card! When I was a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator, one of my favorite sets was called Pick a Petal so this card is very much inspired by projects using that set. I was so excited when I got this stamp set and hope you enjoyed the project!
