The much anticipated Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® 2021 release is here!!! It’s loaded with fabulous new products and I can’t wait to share all my projects with you over the next month and more! Tonight’s project features a new layering stencil called Leaves Wreath along with the Thankful For You dies. Amazing exclusive collaboration sets start next week, so stay tuned!

There are two stencils to the Leaves Wreath stencil set. I started with the leaves stencil and inked the similar leaves the same, then moved my way all the way around until I was done with the 4 different leaves. I wanted the foliage to share fall colors and more importantly, the changing of colors so I used 2 colors for each leaf. All the inks I used are Simon Says Stamp Inks: Fern, Goldenlocks, Merlot, Schoolhouse Red, Burnt Orange.

Next, I used the second stencil to ink-blend all the stems and veins using Dark Chocolate ink. When done with my panel, I trimmed it into an A2-sized panel and splattered it with gold and white paint to give it more texture. For the sentiment, I used the Thankful For You die. I die-cut the base in black and the word thankful 4 times. Before die-cutting the top layer, I ink-blended the panel with the same inks I used on the leaves. I stacked the words for dimension over the black base and adhered it to my card.

I finished by adding a few sequins from the new Party Time Sequin Mix. I used a few different colors that I thought would coordinate with the leaves I ink-blended.
