I have a really colorful card to share with you using products from the Stamptember release. One of the most exciting new products includes Hot Foil Plates! I’m using the Joyous Christmas one on my card today after coloring the Outline Ornaments background.

I don’t know why I decided to color this background in rainbow order, but it’s different and it pushed me to do something different. I only blended colors in a few of the ornaments, but I love the transition between colors. I’ll have to try that more intentionally next time. I stamped my background with a black in and colored with Copic markers starting with red and ending with purple/pink.

Reds: [R32, R35, R37, R39], [R12, R14, R17, R27]
Oranges:  Y15, Y38, YR07
Yellows:  Y00, Y11, Y15
Greens:  G12, YG06, G05, G17
Teals:  BG11, BG23, BG45, BG49
Blues:  [B21, B23, B26], [B24, B37, B39]
Purples: [BV00, BV02, BV04, BV08], [V01, V04, V05]
Pinks:  R81, R83, R85
Grays:  C1, C3, C6

Next, I foiled the Joyous Christmas sentiment using Polished Brass foil. Because it was still just one layer at this point, I decided to add a sub-sentiment from the Ornamental Christmas stamp and die set. I embossed the sentiment and used a coordinating die to die-cut the sentiment nicely before attaching it to the card using foam tape.

I finished by adding sparkles and dotted details all over using a white gel pen. I hope you like this added touch! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
