In the thick of Stamptember, Simons Says Stamp brings you more surprises! There’s a new Limited Edition Holy Family Card Kit. If you love traditional Christian holiday cards, this set is perfect for mass producing!

I’ve created three cards using all the different products available in this kit and hope it inspires you and gives you some ideas!

My first card is straight forward. The kit contains the Little Angel die as well as the Stylized Holy Star die. I die-cut the star using gold glitter paper and the angel using silver glitter paper. I left all the die-cut pieces inside the die because I felt it showed off the details in the die better as a solid piece. I used patterned paper from the kit to ink-blend using Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink before embossing it with the Refracted Embossing Folder to give it lots of texture. The sentiment is fussy cut from one of the patterned paper sheets. Su[er easy!

My second card features the Holy Night stamp set. I stamped and colored the images, then fussy cut them out. I used cream cardstock (from the kit) to stamp a background. Next, I ink-blended a sky on a separate piece of white paper using Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves, and Chipped Sapphire. I die-cut it from a Nested Circle die and cut off a bit to make it an arched panel as a focal point for this card. I used the stars stencil from the Layering Holy City Skyline Stencils to stencil on some glitter paste. Before attaching my colored images, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set. This is such a classic nativity stamp set and is wonderful if you like a more traditional holiday card.

Last but not least, my final card uses the Layering Holy City Skyline Stencils. Using the same colors as above, I ink-blended a mini slimline panel. Using one of the skyline stencils, I inked the stencil with Black Soot ink. Then for the skyline in the forefront, I used grit past to give it a stone-like look. There is a layer of doors and windows that I stenciled on a second layer – gives it a more opague look that’s tone-on-tone. I finished by stamping and embossing a sentiment from the Holy Night stamp set.
