I’m sharing a more “normal” post today. By normal, I mean it has nothing to do with STAMPtember. Amidst all the excitement, we also bring you the monthly card kit release. The October 2021 Card Kit is here!

The So Talkative Card Kit is available for purchase now and ships beginning September 16th! There are stamp sets, embossing folders, stencils, dies, and so much more. As always, it’s packed full of value. I’ve used several of the products to share two cards with you today.

I used the new Pawsitively Saturated Inks to ink-blend on both my cards today. They’re such happy colors!

I used the Speech Bubbles Stencil to ink-blend onto a white panel, then die-cut the Outline Friend twice – once in white and once using a sheet of holographic cardstock (included in the kit). I used the holographic outline to layer over the white to create my look. I used foam tape to adhere the letters over my card panel, then stamped the sentiment from the So Talkative set.

The So Talkative set is filled with sentiments. I thought it would be fun to create a background using all the different sentiments and doing some emboss-resist to ink-blend some fun colors over it to bring them to life. I also used the Speech Bubbles Stencil to spotlight “Hi, friend” with a darker ink to draw more attention to it. Then, I finished by adding some sequins to give it more interest since this is a one-layered card.
