Tim Holtz just announced his STAMPtember 2021 exclusive for Simon Says Stamp! It’s a wonderfully classic holiday set!
I used lots of different products to give this one texture. I started by masking off a moon using the stencils that go with this set and ink-blended the sky around the moon using Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks.
Next, I embossed the trees and Santa’s sleigh and deer using clear embossing powder after stamping with a black pigment ink. I went over the areas with coordinating colors to give them color where the blue or white background showed through.
Trees: G29
Browns: E34, E39
Reds: R35, R39
I used Old Paper and Pumice Stone Distress Ink to give the moon more color before adding Grave Distress Texture Paste. I also used a Marvy Snow Marker to add snow to my trees to give it lots of dimension.
I finished by embossing my sentiment and splattering the entire panel with white paint to make it look like snow. I hope you enjoyed this classic holiday card!
