I’m so excited to be on the Lawn Fawn Blog today sharing inspiration from their latest release. I wanted to stop by here and share it with you too! It’s all available at Simon Says Stamp, too! today, I’m featuring the adorable You Autumn Know set as well as the Fall Leaves Background Stencils!

I worked on the background first because I LOVE stencils! I used Lawn Fawn inks to ink-blend the background using the Fall Leaves Background stencils.. First, I applied a light layer of Peach Fuzz ink starting at the upper left hand corner and faded to white going in the direction of the bottom right hand corner (at a diagonal). Then, one layer at a time, I ink-blended in the same direction using reds to orange, to yellow, to green (Cranberry, Lobster, Pumpkin Spice, Butter, Jalapeno). the only exception is with the acorns and branches, which I isolated in color using Crunchy Leaf.

Next, I stamped and colored my images from the You Autumn Know stamp set. I used my go-to blending from reds to greens with Copic markers.

Reds:  R32, R35, R89
Oranges/Yellow:  Y04, Y38, YR04
Greens:  YG06, G09
Browns:  E33, E35, E37
Mice:  R00, R330, E40, E41, E42

To finish, I adhered the images over my background using foam adhesive to give it all lots of dimension. I then embossed my sentiment and die-cut it with the Simple Wavy Banners die to give it a bold banner. I hope you like it!
