Today’s post is is Part 2 of last’s nights collaborative release! Sugar Pea Designs’ Everyday Home set is a wonderful every day set and I loved creating my farmstyle living room scene!
To create today’s card, I began by stamping and coloring the images with Copic markers.
Browns: E50, E30, E33
Grays: C00, C1, C3
Greens: G14, G40, G43, G46
Blues: B91, B95, B97
I used browns, grays and blues to create my farm-style porch/living room. It’s so fun! I wish i could having a space this open and spacious. But hey… 4 kids, lots of furniture and toys. You get it! After coloring the images, I fussy-cut the images and then set them aside to work on the background.
To create the shiplap background, I drew 1/4″ lines with a C3 Copic marker all the way up a white panel. Then to I blended/softened those lines with C1 and C00 markers. For the floor, I cut 1/4″ strips of Light Brown Woodgrain cardstock. I added some shading with brown Copic markers the same why I did with the shiplap wall.
I finished by attaching my images in various areas, some with foam, the monstera plan with doubled foam to give it all lots of depth and dimension. I hope you like it!!
