My daughter Lyla’s Kindergarten teacher is expecting a baby any day now, so I thought I’d make her a baby card. I used some fun products from Simon Says Stamp that I have not gotten a chance to use and it was fun! I asked her for the colors of her nursery and she sent me a picture of her darling baby blanket – rainbows in boho/earthy tones, so I had to incorporate the Rainbow Turnabout from Concord & 9th.

I stamped the background using the following Simon Says Stamp inks: Pale Blush Pink, Rosie Cheeks, Dusty Sage, Laurel Green. When done, I trimmed a piece of vellum cardstock to mat this panel to lighten it just a tad for the Interactive Baby Stroller I put together. It’s interactive because the umbrella portion of the baby stroller is attached with a brad and it swivels. So fun!

I used fog cardstock for the base of the stroller and ink-blended it with Rosie Cheeks ink – gives it a muted color that I absolutely love. I used Fog cardstock for the Welcoming word and the CZ Everett Solid Letters too to make my card more cohesive.

I hope you like the personalization on this. It could very well say “Welcome Baby” and that’s great to have on hand too. I love being able to incorporate nursery colors to make a baby card special. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
