Hi, Friends!

I’m a part of an Instagram Hop today celebrating Pretty Pink Posh’s latest release.  There are $25 gift certificates given away for each day of the 3-day Instagram Hop so be sure to check that out.   I’m sharing the projects here too because I like being able to document my work – it’s sentimental in a way.  I also have a video if you want to check it out too.

Today’s slimline card uses the Snowman Friends set.  I created my background by ink-blending a panel using Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Seedless Preserves.  I then stenciled the background with the Snowfall Stencil using white pigment ink.  I also stamped snowflakes from the Snowman Friends stamp set across the top of the panel as well.

Next, I stamped my sentiment before creating a shaker window using the Slimline Scallop Frames.  I filled my shaker with Sparkling Clear Snowflakes and Sparkling Clear Confetti.

After creating my shaker unit, I stamped and colored the images from the Snowman Friends set.  I die-cut the images, then filled the top of my shaker window with my images to finish my card.

         Reds:  R22, R24, R29
         Oranges:  Y15, Y19, Y35, KY38
         Teals:  BG11, BG34, BG23
         Blues:  B000, B01, B02, B04, B06
         Grays:  C1, C3, C5, C7, C9
         Browns:  E31, E35

As a bonus, I also created a see-thru tag/ornament with the Snowman Shaker Die.  I die-cut it several times (8 to be exact) to layer them.  I was able to do this because this die is symmetrical.  I colored a few components and added windows on both sides on the outer-most layer of the snow man to make it double-paned for shaker components in the center. It’s easier to see what I’m doing in the video.
