If you want to be see even more inspiration, be sure to check out the And Back Again Gallery! My card today features the Layered Heart Mandala Stencils and the new XL Love Greetings stamp set.

The Layered Heart Mandala Stencils is a set of 4 stencils. I started with the full stencil and ink-blended the mandala using Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Blush, Lemonade, Marine. These three colors blend together to create new colors. This also creates a darker base layer for the shimmer paste I use later.

Next, I use the outline stencils to ink-blend each section of the mandala using the same inks, but with a lighter hand to make a colorful background. When I was done with these layers, I placed the full stencil back on top and used Cosmic Shimmer Luna Paste to add a layer of shimmer over the ink-blended details of this mandala. I thought more color would show through the shimmer paste, but I love how opaque it is too.

To finish my card, I stamped a sentiment from the XL Love Greetings stamp set over vellum and adhered it over the center of my background with some silver thread accents. I hope you enjoyed this card!
