It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! The last challenge was Clean and Simple cards and in some ways, this next challenge is similar! It’s a card sketch that I feel can be really clean!

Lawn Fawn has some great bubble images! You probably know which ones I’m talking about, but I wanted to do something different to share that Sketch Challenges don’t always have to be taken literally. I saw raindrops.

I started with my background and ink-blended Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, and Salvaged Patina from the top down. To give my background more texture and to emulate the smaller bubbles on the sketch, I spritzed my panel with water droplets.

Next, I die-cut the pieces from the Stitched Umbrella. I used patterned paper from the Really Rainbow Petite Paper Pack because I couldn’t decide on the umbrella color! It’s a simple card and I wanted it to be colorful so the patterned paper worked out.

The raindrops are die-cut with white paper. To make them more interesting, I used Glossy Accents and Prisma Glitter to add sparkle to each drop after adhering them to the card. I finished my card with an embossed sentiment from the Rain or Shine Before N Afters stamp set.
