Hi Friends!

I have a floral card to share using some easy ink-blending to reveal the new Tim Holtz Distress color! Saltwater Taffy is a beautiful and rich pink, with a coral tone to it. These beautiful Distress products in the new Saltwater Taffy color are available now and ready to ship from Simon Says Stamp!

I used the Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers set to ink-blend a few different colors so you can see how they all look together.

To create my card, I started first by stamping and embossing my images with white embossing powder. For some emboss-resist, I used different Distress Oxide Inks to ink-blend all the images for a colorful card. Distress Oxide colors used: Saltwater Taffy, Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron, and Lucky Clover.

For the background, I embossed a white panel using the Crystal Distortion Embossing Folder. Next, I arranged my flowers, mirroring at a diagonal on my embossed panel. When it was all arranged, I used some Glad Press ‘n Seal to hold it all in place while I used foam adhesive on the back to adhere to my embossed panel.

To finish, I stamped a sentiment from the Beautiful Friend set on vellum and embossed it with gold embossing powder. I fussy-cut around the sentiment and adhered it with thin strips of foam adhesive. I hope you like this card! I had fun creating it and love that it’s a colorful card without having to color with markers or paint!
