Hi, Friends!

I have a special set of cards to share today, honoring Ukraine’s national colors. These cards were created as a part of a card auction, with donations going directly to relief efforts. I feel helpless with what’s happening, so I’m contributing how I can. It’s minuscule contribution in the grand scheme of things to me, but every effort matters. Ukraine’s national colors are blue and yellow and I used products from the latest release from Memory Box, Poppy Stamps, and Birch Press Design to create today’s cards.

My cards use the same color cardstocks and inks.

Pawsitively Saturated Inks: Sunbeam, Citrine, Field, Royal
Cardstock: Lemon Chiffon, Banana, Island Blue, Green Leaf, Green Apple

My first card uses the Wood Planks background stamp over blue cardstock using blue ink. I also ink-blended around the panel after stamping to make it darker around the edges. Next, I die-cut a leaf stem from the Birchpress Fuddled Leaf Branches.

I die-cut the Memory Box Layered Periwinkle dies in yellow and ink-blended them with dark yellow ink to give them more color. My sentiment is die-cut from the Poppy Stamps Freestyle Hugs dies.

My second card uses the same yellow Layered Periwinkle flowers. This time, I paired them with leaves from the Memory Box Exquisite Leaf Set. I used blue and yellow paper strips for the background for a more clean and simple card before layering my leaves and flowers on top, leaving space for a sentiment.

My final card uses the Poppy Stamps Flower Field Frame. I die-cut the frame using yellow cardstock and ink-blended the flowers’ centers with yellow ink to make them more interesting. Next, I die-cut the foliage using the Memory Box Layered Star Flowers die set.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Poppy Stamps Colorful Life set at the center of an ink-blended panel, then finished by adhering my frame.

All of the flowers on today’s cards are embellished with some Nuvo Glitter Drops in Honey Gold. I hope you enjoyed these cards. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
