Simon Says Stamp just released a Limited Edition Easter Kit for 2022. I have a few cards to share using many of the products from this special kit so let’s dive right in!

I created 3 cards using the major products from the kit.

My first card uses the Large Easter Basket die. I die-cut the basket from Neenah Dessert Storm cardstock and inked it with Cappuccino Pawsitively Saturated Ink to give it more dimension and shading.

The die also comes with egg dies and I used the Echo Park My Favorite Easter Paper Pad to die-cut a few eggs and used ink to give my eggs more interest. Ink colors will be linked below for your convience.

I used stamped images from the Easter Joy set to color with Copic markers and to decorate my basket.

Pinks:  [RV10, RV11, RV13], [R20, R21, R22], [R81, R83, R85]
Yellows:  Y00, Y11, Y15, Y17
Greens:  G12, G03, G09

My second card uses the Layering Eggs stencils. I used the same ink colors used on my eggs in the first card to ink-blend the eggs for my slimline card.

After ink-blending, I stamped my sentiment and embellished my card panel with some stickers from the kit and a few iridescent sequins.

My last card is a simple shaker card using the Somebunny Loves You stamp and die set. I used the die to create a shaker window and stamped my sentiment/image on the card base. I gave the ears some color, but left the rest white.

All the color here is from the patterned paper from Echo Park in the kit. Again, I used an iridescent sequin mix for the shaker card so we can still read the sentiment/image easily.
