Hello, Friends!

I have a card today using the Mother’s Day Tulips from the Simon Says Stamp Hello Gorgeous release. This gorgeous image was illustrated by my friend Emily Midgett.

I used Copic markers to color my image. The image is large and can be used on an A2-sized panel, or even a slimline panel. I cut off a leaf at the top right to fit my image on an A7-sized (5″x 7″) card.

Tulips:  R000, R00, R21, R22, R05
Foliage:  G40, YG41, YG45, BG75

After coloring, I took my time fussy-cutting around the image. I really wanted to create a seamless background that would show through the tulip stems. On a white panel, I ink-blended the Tin Tile Stencil using Spring Pawsitively Saturated Ink.

I finished my card by attaching a sentiment that I embossed and also fussy-cut. I added some embellishments and also drew a frame using a T-ruler. I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting today!
