The Simon Says Stamp Happy and Joyful release is here! There are lots of florals and I plan on sharing that later but for this post, I want to share a card I made using the awesome new Layered Alphas Stencils!
I used 7 Pawsitively Saturated Ink Trios for my card today. I’ll link them all below. I thought it would be fun to spell out “celebrate” and do a rainbow order for the letters. There are 3 stencils in the Layered Alphas Stencil set. I labeled them “L,” “M”, “D” for light, medium, and dark in a corner of my stencils discretely to help me manage them as I blended the 3 shades from each ink trio.
There are nine letters, so I used the new 6″ Pawsitively Everything T-Square Ruler to measure straight down and across the center of a white panel so I could space the letters as evenly as possible. I started with the letters down the center first (E, B, T), then worked on the left and right sides.
After ink-blending all the colors, I trimmed my panel and matted it over a Cream-colored panel. I then trimmed down sentiments from the Reverse Yay You Sentiment Strips and adhered them to my card using foam adhesive to give it more dimension.
