Hey there!

I’m back today to share more inspiration from the Simon Says Stamp Happy and Joyful release. Today’s card features the Layered Flowers Stencils as well as the XL Stacked Greetings set.

I began by ink-blending the 4 layers with different Pawsitively Saturated Inks (they’ll be linked below). The layers create such a lovely background! When done, I splattered my panel with gold paint. When dry, I used the XL Stacked Greetings Die to die-cut through the panel to stamp my sentiment on. I didn’t want to cover up the flowers so I chose to repurpose what would’ve been covered up if I had stamped my sentiment on something else. I used the Pawsitively Everything T-Square Ruler ruler to make sure it was centered before die-cutting.

I stamped and embossed my sentiment with black ink (and clear embossing powder). To give my sentiment more spotlight, I matted my sentiment panel with Doll Pink cardstock. Before adhering it down, I used gold thread to add some interest.

I finished today’s card by adding some iridescent sequins from both new sequin mixes from this release. There is a purple mix (Blooming Lilacs) and a blue mix (Spring Showers) and I just picked out the clear and iridescent sequins to use. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
