Hi, Friends!

Today’s card features the Simon Says Stamp Sundae Afternoons set. I created this card for the spring issue of Scrapbook & Cards today and I’m excited to share it with you. You can view the full online catalog HERE. The images from the Sundae Afternoons set are fun to color and I took my time with the details.

I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers, then die-cut them to work on the background.

Reds:  R32, R35, R37, R39
Pinks: [ RV11, RV14, RV19], [R0000, R30]
Teals:  BG10, BG11, BG13
Browns:  E0000, E31, E34, E37, E49
Grays:  C00, C1, C3
Greens:  YG11, G21, YG45, G28

I ink-blended a white panel with some Seafoam Pawsitively Saturated Ink before die-cutting the Detail Petal Plate into the paper for a patterned background. I wanted a stitching border so I also die-cut it with a Stitched Rectangle die.

For the card border, I used a piece of patterned paper from the Doodlebug Made With Love Paper Pad. I thought it would make it fun and festive. I finished by attaching an embossed sentiment from the Sundae Afternoons set.
