There are several beautiful foiling products in this release and I used the Intricate Floral Background foil plate for this card. I foiled it with gold foil and ink-blended the panel with Distress Oxides. The foil resists the ink beautifully.

I ink-blended the panel with Spun Sugar first at the center, then Picked Raspberry around that, then Wilted Violet around the edges. I worked back and forth between the three colors to create a blend. When finished, I buffed the panel with a cloth to remove any ink sitting on top of the foil. To give the panel texture, I splattered it with water and white paint.

My sentiment uses the Cathy Zielske’s Yay You Words die and a sentiment strip from the Reverse Yay Sentiment Strip set. I die-cut the words using Matte Gold Cardstock and the backing in vellum. To adhere it to my background, I first laid down some gold thread loops.
