Hi, Friends!

School is ending for my kids in a couple of days. Teacher appreciation week is over, but I’m all about showing appreciate to our bus driver(s), too. My kids have had the same bus driver for 2 years now and I try to show her as much appreciation as I do the teachers. It’s special to have the same bus driver year after year as we establish trust putting our kids’ safety in someone else’s hands. Anyway, I couldn’t wait to get the Little Bus Agenda set from Mama Elephant before the school year ended!

I stamped and colored these adorable images using Copic markers. The critters are all separate images so you can place them anywhere you want in the bus windows. After coloring and die-cutting, I adhered the critters onto the window pieces that were cut out and taped them to the back to hold those images in place like they were never cut out in the first place. I also stamped and lightly colored some cloud images from the new Little Airplane Agenda set.

The road is from the new Hit the Road die. I die-cut the road using gray cardstock and ink-blended it lightly with Black Soot ink. I also backed it with some light yellow cardstock for the road markings. For the background, I simply ink-blended the sky with blue ink and the grass area with green ink. I adhered the road, then my other images.

I couldn’t find a “thank you” sentiment in a decent size or layout from the Mama Elephant stamps in my stash, so I opted for a simple sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Reverse All The Thanks Sentiment Strips. These pre-printed sentiments are such a time saver!
