My card today uses the new Floral Harmony Embossing Folder. I love the embossed floral images that I can color. For today’s card, I used Copic markers. I just colored liked flowers and worked my way around. This is a lot like doing no-line Copic-coloring without the lines (you get the raised edges, of course).

Sometimes, I hold my Copic marker at an angle and use the side of the brush tip to catch raised bumps like at the center of the flowers or petals. It naturally picks up the color where raised edges are and gives it a natural look without much effort. When I was done coloring, I outlined the embossed image with a light blue marker and filled in the center. I also splattered the panel with white paint to give it more interest.

For the sentiment, I used a pre-printed sentiment from the Reverse Chill Summer Sentiment Strip Set from Cathy Zielske.
