Hey Friends!

I’m a part of an Instagram Hop with Pinkfresh Studio today, celebrating their June release! Be sure to head there and hop with us to see more inspiration and for an opportunity to win the entire release. Today’s cards use a few new products. Both cards use the Fancy Rose Bunch Stamp, Die, and Stencils. For the background on one, I use the new Geo Arch Hot Foil Plate and Stencils; for the other, I used the new Dotted Scallops Coverplate.

I created two cards and while they use the same stamp set and are ink-blended with the same colors, the outline of the image greatly changes the look of the card. Doesn’t it look completely different? It’s such a trick of the eye! I embossed one with black ink and clear embossing powder and the other with clear ink and gold embossing powder.

After embossing two white panels, I ink-blended each one with the exact same colors. There are 6 stencils in the Fancy Rose Bunch Stencil Set. They are each numbered and I worked in order (sometimes I don’t, but this one is detailed and it worked out for me).

Ink colors used: Peach Fuzz, Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Fresh Pear, Key Lime

The background of this card uses the Dotted Scallops Coverplate. I die-cut the decorative background on white cardstock and before attaching my image with foam adhesive, I also added some gold thread to give it interest. It’s finished with a simple sentiment strip.

My second card uses the Geo Arch Hot Foil Plate and Stencils. I foiled my background with gold foil over white cardstock and ink-blended it with a light hand using the same colors as on my flowers (Peach Fuzz, Coral Reef, and Fresh Pear). For this card, I attached my image at an angle and cut off the overhang once it was attached to a card base.

The sentiment on my second card is from the Perfect Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and Die set. It also comes with a stamp set if you prefer not to hot foil. I just love that I stamped and foiled this set once and have been using what I have prepared without doing it all over again!
