Hi there!
Today’s card features the Strawbeary set from the previous Simon Says Stamp Yay You release. It’s illustrated by my talented friend, Alberta Gava. If you are familiar with his work, you know how talented he is with Copic markers. This set has bears it in (hence, it’s name), but I love the strawberries and foliage so much, I wanted to create a background with the images.
I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers (two of each individual image).
Foliage: G03, G09, G21, G24, G28
Flowers: C1, V91, YG01, Y11, Y15
Strawberries: Y14, R14, R17, R29, R59
After coloring and die-cutting, I arranged my images and spaced everything out. When I was happy with the spacing, I used a piece of Glad Press ‘n Seal to pick up all the pieces. I used foam adhesive dots on the back of the images, removed the backing and then picked up all the images still on the Press ‘n Seal and adhered it all over a piece of Cream cardstock.
I finished with an embossed sentiment. Super simple, but the bold strawberries and pretty foliage is what this card is all about and I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting today!
