Simon Says Stamp – September 2022 Card Kit – Let’s Celebrate

Hello friends!

There’s a new Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp and it’s birthday-themed! I love the new Let’s Celebrate 6″ x 8″ stamp set because it’s filled with great sentiments, large and small for any design.

I used the included patterned paper on both my cards from American Crafts’ Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush Paper Pad. The colors are fun and bright and makes this card set cohesive.

My first card is a window card with a simple image stamped and colored from the Let’s Celebrate stamp set. To make the window frame, I used a Stitched Rectangle die and a Nested Circle die.

I stamped my sentiment in the center of the white space, then adhered the window frame over the patterned paper panel with foam adhesive for dimension. I finished by adhering the cake slice in the center of the open window using foam adhesive.

My second card uses another sheet of American Crafts’ Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush paper. I turned it into an infinity shaker background and filled it with Disco Ball Sequins included in the kit.

For the top of my shaker, I stamped and colored another sentiment from the Let’s Celebrate stamp set. I colored the letters with the same Copic markers as before. I also stamped and embossed two balloons on vellum.
