Hi friends!

I hope you’ve seen lots of inspiration the past few days from the STAMPtember release! My card today uses the Flourishing Bloom Plate. It’s a beautifully intricate die plate that I die-cut with white cardstock. I did some ink-blending and Copic coloring to give it some color.

The flower centers pop out, so I popped them out and colored them with Copic markers in Y32 and Y38. For the leaves and stems, I colored them with G21 and G24. Then for the flowers, I ink-blended with Watermelon Pawsitively Saturated Ink.

After coloring, I adhered the frame over a piece of acetate to hold it all down, with the intention of turning it into a shaker card. However, I loved the white space and decided not to add a shaker element to the card – the shine from the acetate gives it a faux-shaker look though!

I added a sentiment with a new Thanks die. I die-cut the backing with vellum and the word with Rose Gold Metallic cardstock. Then the sub-sentiment is a strip from the Reverse Grateful and Thank You set. I finished my card by adding a few Gilded Sequins.
