Studio Katia STAMPtember® 2022 Exclusive – Grateful Florals

Hi, friends!

I’m so glad you’re back for more STAMPtember celebrations! Today’s exclusive collaboration is with Studio Katia! The Grateful Florals set is a 4″ x 6″ set with a beautiful pumpkin arrangement.

I always admire pumpkin arrangements, but have never made or purchased one! While pumpkins are often orange, I have an affinity for green and white pumpkins! I stamped my image with a Copic-friendly ink and colored it with Copic markers.

I’m assuming these are peonies – which have a more spring-time feel to them, but I suppose I could’ve used more muted tones for a more autumnal feel too!

Purples: V01, V05
Greens: G14, G16, YG11, YG06, YG09, G21, G24, G28
Browns: E0000, E30, E33

For the background, I used the Simon Says Stamp Pine Bouquet Embossing folder to give my panel lots of color and texture. I first ink-blended the panel with blobs of Aspen, Morning, Bubblegum, and Seafoam inks. Next, I ran my panel through my embossing/die-cutting machine.

To give the raised areas more highlight, I used my index finger to dab on some white pigment ink. I rubbed the white ink all over the raised areas until I was happy with the result. I finished by attaching my pumpkin image with foam adhesive and attached an embossed sentiment as well.
