Welcome back for more Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week projects! Today, we’re featuring the Build-A-Snowman set. I’ve paired with with the Snowflake Background Hot Foil Plate also – both from the latest Fall/Winter release.

The Snowflake Background Hot Foil Plate was used to foil the background using Opal hot foil. It looks white in the photo, but it’s so pretty in the light! To give it some color, I ink-blended the background with Seedless Preserves, Worn Lipstick, and Tattered Rose.

Next, I die-cut the Build-A-Snowman pieces using Lawn Fawn Colored Cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I decided to color them with Copic markers instead of ink-blending because I felt the smaller pieces were easier to add color to.

Copics:  
Pinks:  R81, R83, R85
Reds:  R37, R59
Green:  G24
Teals:  BG11, BG13
Yellows:  Y11, Y17
Browns:  E31, E35
Grays:  C3, C5, C7

I pieced my snowmen together using liquid adhesive and arranged them to hug before attaching them to the ink-blended/foiled panel using foam adhesive for dimension. I finished with an embossed sentiment over vellum using a sentiment from the Making Frosty Friends set. This stamp set is very similar to the dies – except it’s stamps, so I felt the sentiments on this set would coordinate perfectly with the new Build-A-Snowman dies. I hope you like my card today!
